Deleskia Butler is the Founder and CEO of Distinctive Women "Entrepreneurial Women Making a Difference", LLC, a worldwide social enterprise referral system for women pursuing entrepreneurship, established professional women with a desire to grow their business or clientele and women who are currently employed by an agency that can provide educational assistance, certifications or discounted services to other entrepreneurial women.
Deleskia has served in the Armed Forces for 18 years, 4 of which she served in the U.S. Navy. She is currently serving in the U.S. Army. Her plan is to retire in 2015, and she has chosen entrepreneurship as her second career. Deleskia's passion has always been to own a business focused on supporting/mentoring women and children. Her ultimate goal is to develop a health and wellness center, which offers services to women veterans and children struggling with obesity.
Deleskia is a Chicago native and a graduate of Grantham University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies.
Deleskia enjoys networking with women about entrepreneurship and creating support channels. She is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Club Leader to the Louisville Pretty Brown Girl Club #9 and a member of the Jack and Jill of America, Derby City Chapter. In her spare time, Deleskia runs two to three miles a day and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her life motto is "To Whom Much is Given, Much is Required".
